MICROBIAL REMEDIATION TECHNICIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of a team supervisor,
will perform remediation of mold and microbial contamination within
residential and commercial structures. Responsibilities
include construction of containment systems and critical barriers,
monitoring of environmental controls and negative pressure,
operation of air scrubbers and negative air machines, monitoring
moisture & humidity, controlled demolition, removal of contaminated
building materials, post-remediation cleaning, and other duties as
assigned.
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:
Full-time, Monday through Friday from
8:00AM to 5:00PM. Occasional weekend hours based on business/client
needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

18 year's and older are encouraged to apply.

High school diploma.
-
Microbial remediation certification helpful but not required.

Knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques or
methods helpful,
but not required for entry level position.

Ability to work within confined areas, properly using protective
clothing,
respirator and operating standard environmental field equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to follow industry safety standards and supervisor
directions to
ensure effective task and work order completion.

Good verbal/written communication skills. Must speak fluent
English.

Strong client service demeanor with the capability to execute
field
assignments to meet company and client standards.

Able to correctly assess and manage communication opportunities
within team and during client interaction.

Ability to work effectively within changing organizational
environment.

Reliability and actively seeking solutions to work challenges is
required.

Valid state driver's license with no traffic violations within the
last three
years.

Legally entitled to work within the US.

Pass medical clearance, background check and drug testing as
conditions
of employment.
SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:
Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 /hr, plus bonuses
and apprenticeship opportunities. |
